Newcomers get to know the basics of off piste skiing, advanced skiers will be able to tap into the experience of our freeride specialists.
Because our guides know their playground inside and out, they will be able to lead you to the best lines in the Zillertal Arena. .
Safety above all. Before you can perform your first magic curves off piste, you will learn to handle the safety equipment, recognize the alpine risks and choose the right choice of terrain.
The safety equipment (variant backpack, LVS device, shovel and probe) will be supplied by Mich's Schischule and is price included.
Requirement is to handle safely red slopes (ski's parallel). The choice of terrain will depend on the level of skiing of the participant, weather and snow quality. Wearing a helmet is obligatory. We recommend a freeride ski for the best turns and a back protector.
Learn all important techniques of avalanche knowledge and the alpine risks during a safety day. The right reading of avalanche reports, how to use LVS device and how to look for avalanche casualties. After this safety training we will practise our knowledge in the terrain.
